About us
B&B Bij De Polder is a modern, self-contained guesthouse tucked into the garden of our home in Broek in Waterland. It is made for two people who want a bit of space and a lot of quiet. You have your own private entrance, your own garden terrace with a picnic table, and everything you need to settle in: a fridge, a Nespresso machine, a kettle and a microwave. Bed linen, towels, coffee and tea are waiting for you. The bathroom has a good shower, a sink with a mirror and a toilet. The nearest shop is a short walk away. The guesthouse is fully electric and designed to be simple and calm. No clutter, no fuss. Just a nice place to be. Outside your door you have the flat open polder landscape, quiet cycling routes and a village that has looked more or less the same since the Dutch Golden Age. Two bicycles are there for you to use. And when you want the city, Amsterdam is 15 minutes away by bike or bus.
Meet Michel en Marloes
We are Michel and Marloes. The guesthouse sits at the back of our own garden, so you get all the privacy you want while we are close by if you need anything. When you arrive, walk past the house along the gravel path; the guesthouse is at the end of the garden with its own outdoor space. Two cats, three chickens and a rabbit also live here.
