Privacy
This site belongs to Bed en Bike Bij De Polder. Below is what happens to your details when you book with us, or when you are just having a look around. It isn't much.
When you send a request
To answer your request we ask for your name, email address, phone number, the dates you want to stay and how many of you are coming. That is what lets us hold the room for you and reach you if anything changes. Everything you fill in comes straight to us rather than to a booking site.
How long we keep it
14 days after you check out, your surname, email address, phone number and message are deleted automatically. Your first name and the dates stay, otherwise our own records stop making sense to read back. If a booking falls through, the same 14 days start from the moment the request was declined or cancelled.
How we count visitors
We keep track of how many people look at the site. No cookies are involved and nothing is stored on your phone or computer. Every visit is turned into an unreadable code, and we throw that code away the same night, so by the next day we can no longer tell it was you. What is left is plain numbers: this many visitors, this many pages viewed. We keep those for fourteen months, so we can compare this summer with last summer. No name is attached to them, and nothing in them leads back to you.
Who else sees it
Nobody with plans of their own for it. We don't sell your details on and we don't let an ad network or an analytics company look over your shoulder. We do pay companies to send our email and to run this site, and they may only use your details to do that work for us.
Questions, or want it deleted
Want to know what we hold, have something corrected, or have it all gone sooner than those 14 days? Email us at info@bnbbijdepolder.nl and we'll take care of it. You can also take it to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, though we'd rather hear it from you first.
